The NigerDelta Voice celebrates the 55th birthday of Rev. Dr. ThankGod Foloki Gamobowei, a distinguished servant of God, respected Baptist leader, teacher of the Word and Senior Pastor of Gateway Baptist Church, Agadagba-Obon, Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom.

At 55, Rev. Dr. Foloki’s journey represents a remarkable testimony of faith, divine preservation, Christian service and leadership, with decades dedicated to the work of God and the spiritual development of people.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Ondo State Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship and Senior Pastor of Gateway Baptist Church, Agadagba-Obon, where his ministry has extended beyond the pulpit to include discipleship, evangelism, leadership development, church growth and the nurturing of Christian leaders.

As a shepherd of souls and teacher of the Word, Rev. Dr. Foloki has continued to demonstrate a commitment to building people and strengthening the body of Christ.

His ministry has also earned recognition as a platform through which lives are encouraged, faith is strengthened and Christian values are promoted. Described as a radio pastor, builder of men and leader of leaders, his influence extends beyond the immediate congregation to the wider Christian community.

His leadership of the Ondo State Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship places him among those entrusted with the responsibility of providing direction, encouragement and coordination within the Baptist pastoral community in the state.

At 55, his life and ministry are a reminder of the biblical declaration: “Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.” — 1 Samuel 7:12.

The milestone also offers an opportunity to reflect on the years of sacrifice, pastoral responsibility, theological formation, family life, ministry challenges and victories that have shaped his journey.
