The families of Mr. and Mrs. Ibukun Ashi of Erubiri Street, Arogbo, and Mr. and Mrs. Berijowei Tayakimi of Upper Egbesubir, Arogbo, have announced the traditional marriage ceremony of their children, Tibi-Ebi Ashi and Beke Ikoigha.
According to the invitation, the colourful traditional marriage is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Upper Tebubeleu, Laye’s Compound, Arogbo, beginning at 12:00pm prompt.
The celebration will continue with a reception on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the Civic Center, Agwobiri, Arogbo, beginning at 3:00pm prompt.
The families have invited relatives, friends, community members and well-wishers to join them in celebrating the union of the couple and to honour the occasion with their presence.
The invitation also lists the colour of the day as White, Wine and Navy Blue, reflecting the elegant theme of the marriage celebration.
The forthcoming ceremony is expected to bring together families, friends and well-wishers from Arogbo and beyond for a celebration of love, family and Ijaw cultural tradition.
