The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Ondo South, Hon. D.I. Kekemeke, Ph.D., BL, has met with the leadership of the Ilaje Youths Congress (IYC) as part of efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships and deepen youth participation in the political development of the district.

The meeting, held earlier today, focused on youth inclusion, strategic partnership and the shared vision of building a more prosperous, peaceful and progressive Ondo South.

Kekemeke, while outlining his vision for the senatorial district, said his priority would be to create an environment where residents can pursue meaningful livelihoods while benefiting from greater opportunities for economic growth and development.

He maintained that, if elected, Ondo South would have an experienced and influential voice at the National Assembly, with the political network and capacity to lobby, attract and facilitate development projects and opportunities to the district.

The APC candidate also assured the youth leaders of fairness, inclusiveness and a sustained partnership, both during the electioneering period and beyond.

Responding, the National President of the Ilaje Youths Congress, Mr. Gbenga Aiyenuro, commended Kekemeke for his vision and leadership approach.

Aiyenuro expressed confidence in the candidate's ability to effectively represent the interests of Ondo South at the National Assembly and subsequently pledged the total support of the IYC for Kekemeke in the forthcoming general elections.

Also present at the meeting were the State Coordinator, Mr. Omomowo Christian; National Secretary, Mr. Ayo Peter; and other members of the association.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strategic partnership, meaningful youth participation and collective efforts towards achieving a more prosperous and progressive Ondo South.

The engagement is expected to further strengthen the relationship between the APC senatorial campaign and youth stakeholders across the Ilaje axis of Ondo South.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route. Local authorities are expected to begin investigations into the incident.
