Afrobeats superstar, , has reportedly pledged to reward 30 coordinators working for the re-election campaign of his uncle, Osun State Governor , with vehicles valued at ₦25 million each if the governor secures victory at the forthcoming governorship election.

The reported pledge was disclosed by the campaign's Chief Coordinator, Ayo Taiwo, during campaign activities in Osun State.

According to Taiwo, the proposed vehicles would be given to coordinators representing the state's 30 local government areas, provided they work diligently towards mobilising support and delivering victory for Adeleke.

He reportedly described the promise as an incentive intended to encourage the coordinators to intensify grassroots mobilisation and campaign efforts ahead of the election.

If implemented as reported, the proposed reward would amount to about ₦750 million for the 30 vehicles, based on the stated value of ₦25 million per vehicle.

The report has generated reactions on social media, particularly because of Davido's prominent involvement in supporting his uncle's political career and the substantial value attached to the proposed rewards.

Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has openly supported Governor Adeleke, a member of the Adeleke political family in Osun State.

However, the reported pledge was attributed to campaign coordinator Ayo Taiwo, and independent confirmation of Davido's personal commitment to purchase or distribute the vehicles was not provided in the report.

Political activities are expected to intensify in Osun State as parties and their supporters continue preparations for the forthcoming governorship contest.
