As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 Ondo State House of Assembly election, the aspiration of Engr. Perewari Iborry, candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) for the Ese-Odo State Constituency, is attracting increasing attention across riverine communities.

Known for his engineering background and community engagement, Iborry has continued to interact with youths, women, elders and community leaders, presenting himself as a candidate focused on practical solutions to the developmental challenges confronting Ese-Odo.

Residents have repeatedly identified issues such as road infrastructure, education, healthcare, employment, electricity, water transportation and youth empowerment as priorities requiring stronger legislative attention. Political observers believe the 2027 election will provide voters with an opportunity to assess candidates based on their vision, accessibility and commitment to public service.

Supporters of the NRM candidate describe Engr. Iborry as a grassroots politician who understands the peculiar needs of the riverine constituency and has consistently advocated for inclusive development.

Speaking during recent engagements with constituents, Iborry reaffirmed his commitment to people-centred representation, promising to champion policies that will improve infrastructure, create opportunities for young people and attract meaningful development projects to Ese-Odo if elected.

While the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is yet to commence the official campaign period for the 2027 elections, political consultations and stakeholder engagements have continued across Ondo State as aspirants prepare for the contest.

For many residents, the 2027 House of Assembly election is expected to be more than a political contest—it is seen as another opportunity to choose a representative capable of giving Ese-Odo a stronger voice in the Ondo State House of Assembly.
