The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has directed candidates shortlisted in its ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise to complete a mandatory online form as part of the final stage of the recruitment process.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, the service stated that candidates who successfully passed the earlier phases of the exercise are required to visit the official recruitment portal to update their details ahead of the final screening and interview stage.
The NCS said all shortlisted applicants must complete and submit the form on or before 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026, warning that late submissions would not be accepted.
According to the agency, candidates are to visit the official portal at Nigeria Customs Service Recruitment Portal using a secure internet connection.
Applicants are expected to log in with the National Identification Number (NIN) used during the initial application process before proceeding to update their personal information.
The service advised candidates to carefully review and update details such as contact information, Local Government Area, cadre or category, and other required fields, stressing that the information provided would be used for the final screening and interview process.
Candidates were also urged to verify their submissions and keep evidence or screenshots of successful submission for future reference.
The NCS further warned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters, reiterating that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge.
It cautioned candidates to ignore unsolicited messages, calls, or requests for payment from individuals claiming to influence the exercise, noting that all official communication would only come through verified NCS channels.
For enquiries and assistance, the service directed applicants to contact its helpdesk lines between Monday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Nigeria Customs Service reaffirmed that the recruitment exercise remains merit-based and transparent.
