Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has defended his father’s administration, urging Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of the government’s reform efforts.

Speaking in reaction to criticisms directed at the President, Seyi Tinubu said his father took over leadership after identifying deep-rooted problems in the country and made the decision to address them rather than leave them unresolved for future administrations.

According to him, President Tinubu is steering Nigeria in a new direction and laying foundations for long-term development and economic stability.

“We are asking Nigerians to keep believing in Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is already steering the country in a direction Nigeria has never seen before, and I continue to pray for his life and for his second term,” he said.

Seyi Tinubu further stated that the President inherited a system with major structural challenges but chose to confront them directly.

“He is a man who saw the cracks in the system and, instead of ignoring them or leaving the problems for the next leader, decided to start fixing them now,” he added.

He also expressed displeasure over persistent attacks and criticisms against the President, insisting that his father’s policies are aimed at creating opportunities and improving governance.

“I’m tired of seeing people drag my father, the President. He has done nothing wrong. He created jobs and is simply trying to get things working properly,” Seyi Tinubu stated.

The comments come amid ongoing national debates over the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms and policies introduced since assuming office.
