𝗕𝗬 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗧𝗔 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘,

𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗮, 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮.

In A statement released and signed by Oladeji Ebisemiju, the Chief of Staff to Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo, on May 13, 2026, confirmed the endorsement of the lawmaker for a second term bid by prominent political leaders and stakeholders across the 12 wards of Ilaje Local Government Area in Ondo State.

The endorsement was announced during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting held at Deep Sea Hotel, Igbokoda, where party leaders, community representatives, youth groups and women organisations expressed confidence in Ojogo’s leadership and representation of the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.

The leaders praised Ojogo for what they described as quality representation, effective leadership and prompt response to the needs of grassroots communities since assuming office. They commended his developmental initiatives, empowerment programmes and interventions across the constituency, noting that his performance had earned him widespread acceptance among constituents.

According to the stakeholders, the endorsement followed ongoing consultations among party faithful, community groups and other critical stakeholders within the constituency, all of whom agreed on the need to support Ojogo’s return to the House of Representatives.

The leaders also stressed the importance of sustaining equitable zoning arrangements within the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency, while applauding Ojogo’s legislative contributions at the National Assembly.

Among the achievements highlighted were his motions calling on the Federal Government to tackle the persistent sea incursion threatening Ayetoro community, as well as his bill seeking the establishment of an Oil and Gas University in Igbokoda.

Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Ojogo expressed appreciation to party leaders, supporters and constituents for their continued trust and support. He reaffirmed his commitment to responsive representation and pledged to continue pursuing policies and projects that would advance development in the constituency.

Several political leaders at the meeting, including Hon. Nimbe Tawose, Hon. Otito Atikase of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Jatuwase, Hon. Bisi Ilawole, Rt. Hon. Abayomi Akinruntan and Hon. Oluyide Mekuleyi, commended Ojogo’s loyalty and contributions to the constituency.

They urged party members and supporters across Ilaje/Ese-Odo to remain united and committed towards ensuring his successful re-election in the forthcoming polls, expressing confidence in his capacity to attract more development to the area.
