The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has praised the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour for mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Otuaro also applauded Seyi Tinubu for what he described as strategic engagements across the country aimed at strengthening the president’s re-election campaign.
The PAP boss gave the commendation following the South-South edition of the group’s mobilisation rally held in Benin City from April 23 to 24, 2026.
Seyi Tinubu, alongside his entourage, arrived in the city on Thursday and was received at the Government House by Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo.
Otuaro described the rally as a clear demonstration of solidarity by youths in the South-South region with President Tinubu’s administration and its continuity agenda. He noted that the turnout reflected strong regional backing for the president’s second-term ambition.
According to him, the support is driven by what he termed the administration’s achievements in the region, including infrastructure projects such as the Lagos-Calabar coastal road, the establishment of the South-South Development Commission, and increased federal attention to agencies like the Niger Delta Development Commission and the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
He further stated that the Tinubu administration has provided opportunities for young people from the region through key appointments into positions of responsibility.
Otuaro added that the Renewed Hope Agenda is yielding results in the South-South and called for sustained support to enable the administration consolidate on its gains.
He also commended the collaboration between the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour and other pro-Tinubu groups, describing it as a sign of growing confidence in the president’s leadership.
The statement was issued on April 25, 2026, by Otuaro’s Special Assistant on Media, Mr Igoniko Oduma.
