Iran has called on its youth population to stage coordinated demonstrations around key infrastructure sites, as tensions escalate ahead of a deadline issued by Donald Trump demanding an end to Tehran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to officials from Iran’s Ministry of Sports and Youth, young people, including athletes, artists, and students, have been urged to gather at 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday to form symbolic “human chains” around power plants across the country.

Alireza Rahimi, Iran’s Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs, stated that the initiative originated from the youth themselves. He explained that groups of university students, young artists, and youth organizations proposed the idea as a show of solidarity and national unity.
Rahimi described the planned action as a peaceful and symbolic gesture, emphasizing that it reflects grassroots support among young Iranians amid the ongoing standoff.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route.
