Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has announced a ₦500,000 reward for information leading to the location of a woman and her children reportedly stranded along the Iyana Era axis of the Lagos-Badagry Motorway in Lagos.
The lawmaker representing Kogi Central disclosed this in a statement shared on her verified Facebook page, expressing deep concern over the condition of the unidentified woman and her children, who were said to be seen wandering in a distressed and confused state.
According to the senator, the woman’s last known location was around Iyana Era, prompting an urgent call for public assistance to locate and safeguard the family. She urged anyone who finds them to provide immediate evidence, including a video, to facilitate verification.
Akpoti-Uduaghan noted that preliminary reports suggest the woman may be experiencing stress-related mental health challenges, raising fears about her safety and that of her children.
Describing the situation as troubling, she called on relevant authorities, including the Lagos State Government and emergency response agencies, to intervene swiftly and ensure the family receives necessary medical attention and protection.
The senator emphasized the urgency of the situation, stressing that the children should not be left exposed to the dangers of sleeping on the streets.
