𝗕𝗬 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗧𝗔 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘,

The Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Hon. Caleb Ebimobowei Molos, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to grassroots development as key projects across the council area continue to make steady progress.

This development was highlighted during a recent project monitoring tour conducted by the Ondo State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in collaboration with the Public Projects Monitoring Unit (PPMU).

Leading the monitoring team was the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Amidu Takuro, who visited several ongoing and completed projects across communities in Ese-Odo Local Government Area to assess their level of execution and quality.

Among the projects inspected was the renovation of Local Authority Primary School, Adoloseimo 2, aimed at improving learning conditions for pupils in the area.
The team also visited Opuba community, where the construction of a 500-metre footbridge with roofing, currently about 80 percent completed, is ongoing. The project is expected to significantly improve mobility and safety for residents.

At Akpata, the monitoring team inspected the completed installation of solar-powered street lights, a project designed to enhance security and improve nighttime visibility within the community.

The delegation further proceeded to Kiribo, where the construction of 20 open market shops is underway and presently at the roofing stage, a development expected to boost local commerce and economic activities in the area.

Speaking during the tour, Hon. Amidu Takuro commended the Executive Chairman, Hon. Molos, for initiating impactful projects across the local government despite prevailing challenges. He expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work and assured the council of the ministry’s continued support in promoting effective local governance and grassroots development.

Responding, Hon. Caleb Ebimobowei Molos reiterated his administration’s determination to deliver more people-oriented projects, stressing that the welfare and development of Ese-Odo residents remain a top priority.

The monitoring tour was attended by the Supervisor for Works and Transport, Hon. Belele Akikoromowei; Supervisor for Education and Community Development, Hon. Amehin Elkanah Ebralatei; Special Adviser to the Chairman on Security and other matters, Hon. Happy Emomotimi; Special Adviser on Special Persons, Hon. Foroijoh Karisuwogho; Councillor representing Ukparama Ward 2, Hon. Mefun Ibukun; Hon. Asetewu Ebisinbofa representing Arogbo Ward 2; and Hon. Kowei Sunday of Arogbo Ward 3, alongside officials from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
