In a major boost for education and youth development in Delta State, Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has launched a massive Free JAMB UTME Registration Drive for the 2026 academic session, targeting 1,500 students across the Delta North Senatorial District.

The initiative, widely welcomed by parents and students, is aimed at easing the financial burden of JAMB registration while expanding access to higher education for young people in the district.

The programme will cover eligible candidates from all nine local government areas in Delta North, including Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Ika North East, Ika South, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Oshimili North, Oshimili South, and Ukwuani.

Eligibility and Requirements

Interested applicants must be 16 years old or above by 30th September 2026. Candidates are required to generate their JAMB Profile Code using their National Identification Number (NIN).

Submission closes on Sunday, 15th February 2026.

Speaking on the importance of the initiative, Senator Nwoko emphasized that education remains one of the strongest tools for building sustainable development, promoting social inclusion, and empowering the younger generation.

With rising economic pressures on families, the Free JAMB Registration Drive is expected to provide relief, open new doors for students, and strengthen access to tertiary education across Delta North.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route.
