𝗣𝗦𝗖, 𝗡𝗣𝗙 𝗙𝗶𝘅 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 9 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 50,000 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀.

The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has announced that physical and credential screening for the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables will commence nationwide on March 9, 2026.
In a press statement issued in Abuja, the Commission disclosed that the screening exercise will run from March 9 to April 18, 2026, across designated centres in the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The PSC directed all applicants who successfully completed the online registration process to visit the official recruitment portal to confirm their application status and print out relevant documents ahead of their scheduled screening date.
Required Documents
Candidates are expected to appear at their assigned screening venues with the following documents:
Guarantors Form
Application Submission Slip
Invitation Slip
Credentials Screening Form
Physical Screening Form
Applicants must also present original copies of their National Identity Number (NIN) slip or card issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), O’ Level Certificate (GCE/SSCE), Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, Local Government/State of Origin Certificate, and Trade Test Certificate for specialist applicants.
Additionally, candidates are to bring two neatly arranged white flat files containing both original and photocopies of their credentials, with recent passport photographs attached.
Dress Code and Compliance
The Commission stated that applicants must attend the screening dressed in white T-shirt, white shorts, white canvas shoes, and white stockings, stressing that compliance with the dress code is mandatory.
Chairman of the Commission, Hashimu Salihu Argungu (rtd), mni, reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and does not require any financial commitment from applicants.
He assured that the exercise would be conducted in a transparent and accountable manner, warning candidates to beware of fraudsters and online impostors seeking to exploit the recruitment process. He added that anyone found engaging in fraudulent activities would be arrested and prosecuted.
The PSC urged all shortlisted applicants to strictly adhere to the guidelines and report to their screening centres on the date and time indicated on their invitation slips.
