Uniting for a Stronger Ijaw Nation
The Ijaw National Congress (INC), through its National Electoral Committee (N-ELECO), has officially announced the timetable and guidelines for the forthcoming INC National Election scheduled to hold in March 2026.

In a statement issued by the Committee, the INC called on all Ijaw sons and daughters across the world to actively participate in the electoral process, describing the election as a vital opportunity to shape the future of the Ijaw Nation. The Committee reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the entire process.

The National Electoral Committee is chaired by HRM Justice F. F. Tabai, with Dr. Olobo Choice Jamaica serving as Secretary.

Collection of Nomination Forms: 12th – 26th January 2026
Return of Completed Nomination Forms: 10th February 2026
Campaign Period: 12th January – 6th March 2026

Publication of Delegate Lists:
20th – 21st February 2026 at Ijaw House, Yenagoa

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route. Local authorities are expected to begin investigations into the incident.
