As Ondo State marks its Golden Jubilee, Hon. Samuel Jemi, an aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly (2027), has described the 50-year milestone as a defining chapter in the state’s collective journey—one shaped by sacrifice, vision, and an unyielding belief in a better tomorrow.
In a goodwill message to the people of Ese-Odo State Constituency, Jemi noted that the anniversary is more than a celebration of time; it is a tribute to the resilience of communities that have endured change, confronted adversity, and continued to contribute meaningfully to the growth and identity of Ondo State.
“Ondo State was built on sacrifice and resilience,” he said. “For five decades, our people have stood firm through trials and transitions, proving that progress is possible when unity and purpose guide our steps.”
He emphasized that the Golden Jubilee belongs as much to Ese-Odo as it does to the rest of the state, stressing that the constituency’s land, culture, and people have remained integral to Ondo’s story. Despite terrain-specific challenges, Jemi praised Ese-Odo for its resourcefulness, hope, and unwavering commitment to development.
Looking ahead, the aspirant urged reflection and renewal, calling for a new phase of leadership anchored on listening, effective representation, and development that reaches every community—especially at the grassroots. He underscored the need for inclusion, fairness, and opportunities that empower youths and women as pillars of sustainable progress.
“As we celebrate 50 years, we must also recommit to a future that leaves no one behind,” Jemi added. “The next chapter of Ondo State must be defined by unity, peace, and prosperity for all.”
He concluded with a message of hope, expressing confidence that the years ahead will usher in sustainable development and shared prosperity for Ese-Odo State Constituency and Ondo State at large.
Signed:
