In a powerful demonstration of inter-state cooperation and regional solidarity, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has approved the construction of a 1,000-seater pavilion in Arogbo, Ondo State, as residents of the ancient kingdom break into celebration.

The development was disclosed in an official publication by the Arogbo Palace Media Team on its verified Facebook platform, announcing the successful flag-off ceremony of the long-anticipated project within the historic Arogbo Kingdom.

The pavilion, envisioned as a major civic and cultural infrastructure, is expected to serve as a central hub for royal ceremonies, community engagements, and socio-cultural activities, significantly enhancing public gatherings and communal life in the area.

The project was awarded by Governor Douye Diri and strategically facilitated by Senior High Chief (Hon.) Kingsley Kuku, Esq., whose leadership, influence, and sustained advocacy continue to attract impactful development to the kingdom.
Stakeholders and residents have described the initiative as a clear testament to the strength of Niger Delta unity and a shared commitment to grassroots development that transcends state boundaries.

As Arogbo residents celebrate this landmark achievement, the flag-off ceremony marks a historic milestone for the kingdom, reinforcing the belief that collaborative leadership and regional solidarity remain key drivers of sustainable development in the Niger Delta region.
