The Management and entire staff of NigerDelta Voice heartily felicitate the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a calm, focused and reform-driven leader whose tenure continues to leave lasting imprints on governance and human capital development.

Since assuming office, Governor Fubara has demonstrated a clear commitment to rebuilding confidence in public administration, prioritising stability, inclusiveness and service delivery across critical sectors of the state’s economy.
One of the most remarkable legacies of the Fubara administration so far is the mass recruitment of teachers into the Rivers State civil service—an intervention widely applauded as timely and strategic. The recruitment drive has not only addressed long-standing manpower gaps in public schools but has also restored hope to thousands of qualified youths, while strengthening the foundation of education across the state.

Beyond education, the Governor’s administration has made deliberate efforts to open up opportunities in healthcare, public service, and other key sectors, ensuring that governance translates into real economic relief and empowerment for Rivers people. His people-first approach to governance continues to reflect in policies aimed at capacity building, institutional strengthening and grassroots development.

Governor Fubara’s leadership style—anchored on humility, consultation and respect for due process—has further helped in stabilising the polity and refocusing governance on development rather than distractions.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route. Local authorities are expected to begin investigations into the incident.
