The Ijaw Apex Body Inc. has officially released the names of aspirants who have collected nomination forms for its forthcoming election, signaling the formal take-off of the much-anticipated electoral process.

In a statement published online on its Official Facebook page, The Ijaw Apex body, INC confirmed that the development marks a significant milestone in preparations for the election, as political activities within the Ijaw socio-cultural space gather momentum. The release of the list confirms the readiness of key contenders and sets the stage for intensified consultations, campaigns, and stakeholder engagements ahead of the polls.

According to the organization, the published list comprises all eligible candidates who duly obtained nomination forms within the stipulated timeframe. The leadership assured members and the general public that the electoral process will be conducted in line with the body’s constitution, emphasizing transparency, fairness, and unity.

Attached to this publication is the full list of candidates who have collected nomination forms. As the countdown to the election continues, attention is now shifting to the next phase of the process, with members of the Ijaw nation keenly watching how the race unfolds.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route. Local authorities are expected to begin investigations into the incident.
