Ota, Ogun State — Controversial Nigerian singer and street-pop sensation, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has paid a motivational visit to Ajogbo Grammar School, Ajibode, Ota, where he advised students to remain focused, disciplined, and determined in pursuit of their dreams.

The visit, which drew excitement among students and staff, saw the music star interacting freely with learners, sharing personal experiences from his humble beginnings and rise to fame in Nigeria’s entertainment industry. Portable encouraged the students to take their education seriously, stressing that success requires hard work, consistency, and self-belief.

Addressing the students, the singer urged them to avoid negative peer pressure, drug abuse, and other social vices that could derail their future. He emphasized that talent alone is not enough without discipline and respect for authority.

> “No matter where you come from, you can make it if you stay focused and listen to your teachers,” Portable reportedly told the students, adding that education and good character remain key tools for success.



School authorities appreciated the visit, describing it as inspiring and impactful, especially as it exposed the students to real-life stories of perseverance and determination beyond the classroom.

The visit ended with cheers, photo sessions, and loud appreciation from students, many of whom expressed gratitude for the motivation and encouragement from the popular singer.

The outreach forms part of a growing trend of celebrities engaging with schools to inspire young Nigerians towards positive values and purposeful living.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route.
