𝗕𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀,

Comrade Ododomu Akpodumofa, popularly known as Akpos, a 200-level Doctor of Pharmacy student of the Ondo State University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), has formally declared his intention to vie for the position of National Secretary in the forthcoming election of the Federation of Ese Odo Local Government Students (FELGOS).

In his declaration addressed to FELGOSITES, Akpos emphasized that his aspiration is driven by service, accountability, and a strong commitment to strengthening the federation, rather than occupying a ceremonial position.

According to him, if elected, he will work collaboratively with fellow executives and relevant stakeholders to elevate FELGOS to greater recognition and ensure equitable representation for Ese Odo students at both local and state levels.

He further pledged to advocate for students’ welfare by ensuring access to essential benefits such as bursaries, scholarships, and empowerment opportunities across all institutions, while also fostering constructive engagement with political representatives for the advancement of student interests.

Akpos noted that his vision includes building a FELGOS that is impactful, relevant, and respected—one that does not seek recognition but commands it through effective governance. He also stressed his commitment to strengthening FELGOS as a credible platform where every student’s voice is heard and valued.

A key part of his agenda, he added, is ensuring proper and sound documentation of all FELGOS activities to promote transparency and institutional continuity.

He concluded by calling on FELGOSITES to unite in building a stronger and more influential federation.

“Together, let us build a stronger, louder, and more respected FELGOS,” he stated.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route. Local authorities are expected to begin investigations into the incident.
