The Agadagba and Paramount Ruler of Arogbo-Ijaw Ibe Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Pere Zacchaeus Doubra Egbunu, Esq. (JP, FCAI, LL.M), Opukutu III, has warmly extended Christmas greetings to the people of Arogbo Kingdom at home and across the world, calling for renewed love, peace, unity, and shared commitment to the progress of the kingdom.

In a heartfelt Christmas message released by the Palace Media Team, the revered monarch described the season as a sacred moment of reflection, compassion, and togetherness. He prayed that Christmas would fill every home with joy, goodwill, and divine blessings, while rekindling hope and collective responsibility among his people.

The Agadagba reminded sons and daughters of Arogbo that Christmas goes beyond celebration, urging them to uphold the enduring values of family, community, culture, and mutual care. He encouraged reconnection with loved ones, acts of kindness, and the strengthening of the bonds that unite the Arogbo people as one family. The monarch paid special tribute to Arogbo sons and daughters in the diaspora, commending their sacrifices, loyalty, and meaningful contributions to the kingdom’s growth. He noted that their continued involvement remains vital to shaping a prosperous and dignified future for Arogbo Kingdom.

“As we celebrate this season,” His Imperial Majesty said, “may our hope be renewed, our resolve strengthened, and our hearts united to face every challenge with resilience and togetherness.”

Reflecting on the birth of Jesus Christ, the king urged the people to live by the virtues of love, humility, kindness, and compassion, describing them as the true foundations of peaceful coexistence and divine fellowship. He prayed that the festivities would be marked by warmth, laughter, and genuine care for one another.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Agadagba expressed confidence that the new year would usher Arogbo Kingdom into greater heights of peace, progress, happiness, and collective success.

He concluded by offering prayers for continuous prosperity and stability in the kingdom, affirming that with unity of purpose and shared vision, Arogbo people will continue to grow stronger with each passing year.

One Feared Dead, Another Injured in Ghastly Accident in Agadagba-Obon By NigerDelta Voice Reporters, Ondo State Correspondent. 24th November, 2025 A tragic motor accident occurred earlier today in Agadagba-Obon, leaving one person dead and another severely injured. The deceased, identified simply as Help , reportedly lost his life after the vehicle involved in the incident somersaulted multiple times. Another occupant, identified as Philip Ojuri , sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Eyewitnesses said the accident happened suddenly, throwing the victims from the vehicle as it overturned. The cause of the crash is yet to be officially confirmed, but community members have called for caution on the increasingly dangerous route. Local authorities are expected to begin investigations into the incident.
